How many places have you lived in your life?
1) Singapore (4 different suburbs in 20 years - the country's too small to have any states!)
2) Newcastle, Australia (4 and a bit years while I was at university)
3) Melbourne, Australia (where I'm currently at!)
What was the last game you played?
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
If I'd done this QotD a couple of hours prior, it'll have to be Animal Crossing: Wild World since I'm pretty regular with 'visiting' my town every day and saying a cheerio to my neighbours and pay a visit to Tom Nook's and The Able Sisters. But my sister had a copy of Kirby64 rom on her thumbdrive, plus the emulator, so we ended up playing that on the computer. We've both played the game on our old Nintendo64 before, but that machine's still back in storage in Singapore, so we've missed the pink puff ball. Not anymore! :D
What is your favorite way to relieve stress?
I used to twist the corner of the pillow I go to sleep with at night for comfort; and lately, I've been picking up that habit again. Except the pillow's long gone; so I sometimes twist the bottom edge of my jeans. :)
What is your browser's default home page set to?
Submitted by Kelev T. Cat.
Netvibes, of course! I can't remember who first told me about it; but it's been months since I've switched to it, and it makes a lovely default homepage. I mean, what more could you want? Email notifications, Flickr photos, weather, feeds, news, and so much all in one place. Plus, it's fully customisable.
Well, that and I've got my bookmark toolbar set up so that all my frequently visited websites are within easy reach - yeah, I know it's not hard to just click on the bookmark tab and scroll down; but this way, I cut out the scrolling. XD
What was (or is) your favorite subject in school?
Lame as it was, Geography.
I'd like to say it was something creative like Music or Art, but we didn't do anything other than play the recorder for Music class, and as much as I tried to love Art, the most fun (and experimental) that I was allowed was painting a cracker.
Geography was the closest I got to finding out more about the world and its natural beauty; it was fascinating to see how everything worked in nature, and how we as dumbarse humans can help protect or destroy it with our actions.
That, and the fact that I always aced my exams. :)
Of course, if we include my time in university as 'school', I'd have to say my design class for my Architecture degree. Nothing beats designing the roof over your head.
