*grumble*
I'm going to whinge. Why? Because I like to, and I honestly haven't done that in a while. And I haven't really properly 'broken in' this blog with a rant. :)
I spent the day writing up 9 listings that went on eBay - 3 more than my first day of work, so it's sort of an improvement, I guess. Had my momentum broken with people coming into the store asking general listing queries and the like, and I also had to spend time checking items into our inventory for customers. Had to check in 36 lots of comics, among other things. >.<
It wasn't such a bad day at work, all things considered. Submitted my tax declaration form and bank account details, so yay, the boss now has all the details he needs to pay me my wages. :D Am also getting a couple more hours next week too, so only thing I can whinge about there is that my back is going to be more sore in the evenings after work. *sigh*
Lastly, on a totally unrelated issue, I wish some people wouldn't lecture others on things they obviously know nothing about. What a farce. Bleah.

Oh no has someone lectured you? I like to rant to my blogs but I always try to not make it seem I am lecturing others.
I think your job sounds interesting, but i wouldnt like listing stuff i dont want or would never own that part would be crappy =( . Id be picky and want to choose what i listed hehe. Ranting is good, it makes us all human right? =D sometimes its good to read that others are having a shit day as well. *hugs* hope your week goes better.
I'm working at a trading post that solely uses eBay, so anyone who comes in with stuff to sell, we valuate, check in the items, and then list, pack and send, and handle all the monetary transactions between buyer and seller. There's a mad commission cut that we take too, but I guess some people aren't fussed about it, or don't know how to work eBay to be bothered by it. I just started work, so it's customary to have the new staff start with just doing listings and checking stuff in. It's not exactly boring work, since everything that comes into the shop is so different (and sometimes very interesting), but because of the way it works, I can't fart around and have to churn out listings like 3 every hour, and right now I'm not skilled enough to do that cos I tend to over-describe, if that makes sense? I think it's from my experiences with Blythe auctions - you want to describe and state everything as is, but at work, I need to know the difference between what is worth a long desc. and what isn't. >.<
Karen, I was just frustrated about the lecture cos it had to do with computer stuff, and the person obviously didn't know jack about it, but was lecturing me about doing something wrong when I knew more than she did. Grrrr.
Kitty, I'm listing stuff with a vim in hope that I'll see a KB in the shop! Apparently, I was chatting with my colleage, and he said he DID see a KB in the shop before, but the guy chose not to list it on ebay. AAAAARRRGGHHH!!!
